Who is the ideal client for Requity Homes' program?

Ideal Requity Homes clients are aspiring homebuyers who are financially capable of affording a home but don't qualify for a traditional mortgage yet.

Our program is designed for:

  • Newcomers to Canada building credit history, including temporary residents on work or study permits with overseas income
  • Self-employed workers and business owners with non-traditional income or lacking 2 years of documented income history
  • Individuals going through life transitions—divorce/separation (without finalized agreements), relocation, or career changes with new job offers
  • People improving their credit—recently discharged from bankruptcy, consumer proposal, or credit counseling, or those with credit blemishes who can afford monthly payments
  • Aspiring buyers who need time to save for a larger down payment or build stronger credit profiles

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Annual household income of $70,000+
  • Current savings of at least 2% of the home price
  • Minimum credit score of 500
  • No active bankruptcy or consumer proposal
