What exactly is Requity Homes’ rent-to-own program, and how does it differ from traditional rent-to-own models?

Requity Homes offers a modernized rent-to-own program that helps transition renters into homeowners. Our mission is to create an alternative path to homeownership. 

Through our alternative financing program, Requity Homes allows clients to choose almost any homes listed for sale in realtor.ca as long as they are within their full approval budget and meet our criteria. Requity Homes will purchase the home from sellers directly and enter into a rent-to-own arrangement with our clients. Clients will rent the home from us with the option to purchase it later at a predetermined price (with a 5% annual increase) at any time throughout the three-year standard rent-to-own term. 

Unlike traditional rent-to-own models, Requity Homes allows clients to choose their own homes from a wide range of homes available for sale. In addition, Requity Homes has the funding available to purchase these homes from sellers directly. We don’t match our clients with individual investors.
